The successful Amnesty International Project Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the Movement Building Programme in the administration of our Resource Allocation Mechanism (RAM). This will involve close collaboration with colleagues across Finance, Fundraising, and our diverse network of national entities to ensure the transparency, efficiency, and adherence to organizational objectives throughout the grant lifecycle.
Main Responsibilities:
Coordinate the RAM grant process. This ensures efficiency and transparency. You will collaborate with Movement Building and Finance. Lead logistical planning for the Redistribution Committee. This includes scheduling and documentation. Furthermore, you will support the RAM grant due diligence. This involves evaluating national entity funding requests. Additionally, you will aid the RAM communication strategy. This ensures entities are well-informed. You will also draft RAM decision letters and MoUs. Moreover, you will track RAM allocations and reporting. This ensures timely payments and compliance. Finally, you will lead specific projects as needed. This will be in consultation with your manager.
Skills and Experience:
Understand global membership organizations’ needs. Strong analytical skills are essential. You should have experience handling data for reporting and decisions. Proficiency in Excel is required. Experience in project coordination is also necessary. This includes logistics and reporting. Excellent interpersonal skills are key. You must build cooperative relationships in a multicultural environment. Moreover, you should work well under pressure. You need to manage priorities and meet deadlines. A relevant academic background is needed. This could be in social sciences or a related field. Fluent English is essential. Knowledge of French, Arabic, or Spanish is advantageous.
